Some time in the 70's, Vincent Del Fuego searched for a new place to practice his roller disco skills. All of the known neighborhood practice places were taken by more experienced skaters and Vinnie needed a quiet place far away from the discriminating eyes of his disco dancing peers to hone his moves.
Eventually, he stumbled upon a run down museum where he found a mystical pick comb. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Vinnie pocketed the comb and headed to his favorite roller disco club after practicing his "double axel with heel grab" move.
After getting himself thrown out of the club for being a horrible skater and a general nuisance, Vinnie had an epiphany. He came to terms with the fact that he was a joke. He would give up skating all together and study to become an investment banker. He was going to make something of himself come hell or high water starting that night! Catching the reflection of his messed up afro in a store window, he remembered the pick comb in his pocket.
"Can't go around looking all disheveled like this if I'm going to be an investment banker! I have to look respectable now."
The air crackled with electricity as he brought the pick comb out of his pocket.
With a single swipe of the comb Vinnie was bathed in a torrent of fire. Vincent Del Fuego was now transformed! He was something more than human. A ghost! A specter! Where his afro had burned away, now there was fire! He exuded confidence. He had even grown a full foot taller! He had the moves now and he knew it!
"What was I thinking deciding to become an investment banker? Why on earth would I want to deny my love of roller disco?"
Thus, roller disco enthusiast Vincent Del Fuego now skates the streets and night clubs as the Specter of Spin: Rollergeist!
